On Relationships..

Whoa, it’s been long since i have last updated my blog.. guess there isn’t any more readers, but i still will be blogging this long post out..

Relationship as defined in dictionary.com:

–noun

1. a connection, association, or involvement.

2. connection between persons by blood or marriage.

3. an emotional or other connection between people: the relationship between teachers and students.

4. a sexual involvement; affair.

I am going to talk about Man-Woman Relationship.

Any time of the day when you walked past a member of the opposite sex, sometimes, you will just think to yourself, ‘how good will it be if he/she will be mine.’ However, when you started a relationship with her, what can go wrong?

Things that we found out is that, there is going to be an ugly sight (or side) for everything and because of that, we will sometimes have disagreements and in the end, we have quarrels. Quarrels are good, sometimes as it helps to strength the foundation, therefore helps to build relationship. We will touch on that topic later..

Fundamentally, everyone has to remember this fact. There are no rights to a relationship, unless you have given the others rights to it as well.

Lets talk about expectations from the other mate. Many of a times we will expect something from our partners, our spouse but how do we know we have not been on one side of the shore? Before you make a request to your partner, think, think, think. Have you been always asking for something from your partner? If you have been giving in all the time, asking for something to take it back should not be demanding at all, and if your partner thinks otherwise, make them know that they have been taking too much from you. Giving in to things can be of many kinds, everyday matters like dining, decision makings or even sex. Everything relates to give and take. Relationships are not supposed to be selfish and demanding but rather give and take.

When we have a quarrel, who should we find for advice? Is it your same gender friend that you have known for years, or that good opposite gender senior friend of yours that you have known for years? Answer is, you should find the opposite gender friend you have know in years. Why?

Same gender thinks alike. Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus! You can have a good friendship with your same gender friend, but you can only stuck at best friend after so long, while in a relationship, your partner will be your spouse for life. Men’s thinking are uniquely men, as as women. There is never a mixture of any kind. When you discuss your problems with your same gender friend, most of the time you will agree with each other and make things worse. While a friend of the opposite gender might give you a different view. Friends can give you or agree with what views you have because you are in a no strings attached friendship, but when you are in a relationship, everything is different.

Friendship and Relationship are different. One can get you a best friend, one can give you a spouse for your life. Always know the difference. You don’t have to please your friend in a friendship, if you have to, then you should sink that friendship. While for a relationship, you have to please and commit, if you don’t want then why are you in? Always remember, you can never compare a man with a woman. Therefore seek opposite gender help when in doubt. It can be your best friend’s spouse, your different gender buddy for a long time.. seek help from the correct person.

That makes the end of the rather abruptly short entry.

A day late for an update, apologies for the delay..

Had a rather small celebration this time round.. We went to watch the movie ‘The Bounty Hunter’ at the Grand Cathay.. A rather nice movie, although i think that there are some parts missing..

Went to Carl’s Junior and shared the Porto bello mushroom thickburger.. Eat a little because we are going back her house to have dinner with her mother and brother.. (: After the dinner, slacked at her house for a while before going off at about 11..

Although we didn’t do much this time, but we do enjoy spending good and quality time together as a couple, like we do everytime.. There will be lesser time for each other when we start studying and working.. ):

In a minute, it will be our 2nd month anniversary. It is nothing to be proud of to some of you might think as two months might not be very long. Well, i tell you, the quantity (length) of time does not matter, it is the quality of love that matters.

Before together

How we started is embedded in my mind. We know each other existence after Rachel’s farewell celebrations.. Got to know each other further and watch movies together. First movie for us was Avatar with Jun Kai.

ADELINE PANG! My deardear, Really thank you for being my pillar of strength and beacon of light during my darkest hour.. We supported each other and fused our used to be broken heart together..

First Month Anniversary

The movie we watch together as a couple was ‘Dear John’. Surprised you on our first anniversary by buying the first tigger and breakfast hope you like it! I know it’s bad that i lied, but well.. If not it is not a surprised already right?

6 Weeks
